I download a file from another system with approx 10,000 lines everyday.
I add columns with simple formulas and copy the formula down the column. This is slow due to the number of lines.
I don't want to change the data format to table.
How can I get the formula down to the last line.
E.g. formula added to cell D1 and need to copy down to D10,000.
I have tried autofill,
Ctrl shift arrow-down
But the formula does not go to the last line.
Thanks in advance

Best way to learn Power Query?
Read M is for (Data) Monkey book by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar. It is the complete guide to Power Query.
In such cases, you can use the following method to copy the formula down to the last row, even if there are blank cells in adjacent columns:

  1. Click on the cell that contains the formula you want to copy (in this case, cell D1).
  2. Press and hold the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard.
  3. While holding down the "Ctrl" key, press the "Down Arrow" key. This will move the cursor down to the last cell in column D with data in adjacent columns.
  4. Release the "Ctrl" key.
  5. Now, the cursor should be in the last cell with data in column D. You can press "Enter" to confirm, and Excel will copy the formula down to this last cell.
This method ensures that Excel copies the formula down to the last row with data in column D, regardless of any adjacent blank cells in other columns.
