I am working on an excel spreadsheet and am trying to figure out the following:

I want to copy a formula down one column. However, i have hidden rows in that column which i don't want the formula to copy to. I only want the formula to copy to rows which are showing and not hidden. I can't figure out a way to do this. Please help. Thanks.

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
Add the "Select Visible Cells" function to your toolbar (Tools > Customize > select the edit category, find the button and drag it to your toolbar). Highlight your range, push the Select Visible Cells button, right click, paste special, formulas, OK.
