Count dates in previous month on another worksheet

Hi I have a workbook with 4 tabs, I am in the summary tab and want to count the number of entries put on the Tregaron tab in the previous month, the date column is column J. Any help gratefully received
 

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
Sort by date Sort by votes
Hi, you could try.

Excel Formula: 
=COUNTIFS(Tregaron!J:J,">="&EOMONTH(TODAY(),-2)+1,Tregaron!J:J,"<"&EOMONTH(TODAY(),-1)+1)
