Countif - sum occurrences in one column based on two conditions

I feel i am making simple mistakes.. but basically i have a table on another sheet and in my working sheet i need to populate the number.

Columns in question are:
A = month
B = province
C = jobs booked dollar value

So i need to tally how many jobs were booked in the month of JAN in the province of BC.

Depending on your version of Excel, try:

=COUNTIFS(Sheet1!A:A,"JAN",Sheet1!B:B,"BC")

If you want the dollar value:

=SUMIFS(Sheet1!C:C,Sheet1!A:A,"JAN",Sheet1!B:B,"BC")

=COUNTIFS(Sheet1!A:A,"JAN",Sheet1!B:B,"BC")

If you want the dollar value:

=SUMIFS(Sheet1!C:C,Sheet1!A:A,"JAN",Sheet1!B:B,"BC")

thank you for the reply. the dollar value formula is the one i WAS able to figure out but i simply need the count of how many times a dollar value appears in jobs booked. forgive me, but i'm missing something with your first example as there is no reference to the jobs booked column

actually i was overthinking this it looks like. i simply added a condition of ">0" for jobs
