hello folks..

like in google when i start a search it auto-suggests a word matching wat u typed... can i do this with excel cell S6... the data to look into for the search is column T which starts from T6 to T8605...... hence if T6 is Monday when entering Mo inside S6, it auto suggest 'Monday' ...im using auto filtering in excel 2007 for the mean time ......

thanks in advance :)

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
I did try doing this HERE but it's ugly and unstable at best and unfortunatly didn't work accross different machines as expected.

I 'am still curious to see if this can be done using a more reliable and cleaner approach.

Regards.

Thanks omairhe fior the link .

Unfortunately, the solution offered in the link falls short of a true AutoComplete feature that is an autocomplete capability that suggests all the matching words as you type in ( just like Google). It just replicates the poor autocomplete functionality of an activeX Combo box.

Regards.
