Create an average column in pivottable 2010

Hi
I have 3 columns showing sales for the the last 3 years. How can i create a 4th column to show the average of the 3 years. can you please explain the process and i can then apply the same for quantities etc. I am using Excel 2010

all help sincerely appreciated
