I have a pivot table on my dashboard that sums daily production data from my data model.
I have added a Timeline for users to choose the time frame they want to see. (week, month etc.)

Is there any way to add a measure that will divide the production data by the number of days the user chooses on the timeline so I can report it on a /day basis?

Thanks very much!

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
Have a separate Calendar table (which is a best practice)? then counting days selected measure should be an easy:

Code:
Count of Days := COUNTROWS(Calendar)

if not, you could do:

Code:
Count of Days := DISTINCTCOUNT(FactTable[Date])

Much preferable to have separate Calendar table of course...

then

Code:
Production per day := DIVIDE( [Production Total] , [Count of Days] )
