Create Outlook Task Reminders from Excel Spreadsheet Data

I have tried several different macros online but I don't understand them enough to edit them to my needs. They seem much more complicated than what I need to do. One of the ones I found is from this site http://www.jpsoftwaretech.com/create-tasks-bulk-using-vba/ but I honestly can't figure out where to edit it to have it just pull the data from the columns I specifically have. Also I run into the Late Binding issue (see below).

I basically have 20 rows, 5 columns. I need to create tasks with reminders in Outlook based on the data in Excel cells A2(Name), D2(Topic), E2(Date). One task per row, due date = E2 but set a reminder 3 days before the due date.

Also every macro I have tried gives me the error "Compile Error: User Defined Type not Defined". From what I've read I have to do Late Binding to my Outlook code. I have tried it and seem to do it wrong every time so if you could please include this in the code I would greatly appreciate it.

I want to learn what each line means so that I could just edit and do this on my own but unfortunately I need to get this project done faster than I have time to learn. Any guidance is very much appreciated.

Please let me know if you need any more info. Running 2010 Excel and Outlook.

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
