Hello all,

Is it possible to add some conditional formatting to a group of cells to have a popup box appear with a message in it if a certain cell (on a different sheet) does not have any data entered into it? Additionally can I make a popup appear if the numerical value of a cell exceeds or falls below a certain amount?

Thanks,

Andrew

Cool that works, but mostly because I had accidentally merged D1 with B1 and C1 and had to unmerge them to make it work. :)

Also If I wanted to have only certain text phrases entered into D1 could I have say three different phrases that would only be allowed (i.e, big, small, medium)?

Excel Facts

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.

Instead of using the DV Formula Option choose..

Allow: List
Source: big,small,medium

Alternatively, for Source: you can select a range of three cells that has those 3 strings as their values.
