Good morning!
I created a friendly user dashboard (pivot tables and graphs) based off of millions of rows in power query.
My table in power query has the entire universe of data, so when users try to filter for a particular category in the pivot table of the dashboard, they see the entire universe of data.
Is there a way I could limit what they see to only their selected category? I'd like for the power query data to filter for their selected category and only bring over that information into the dashboard. I tried to find something online that could be of help, but my M language skills are plain bad so I cannot manipulate the examples to what I'd like. I presume my answer would require creating a filter for their selected category? I don't know. Any help greatly appreciated!
*Category is a text column in my power query table.
