Custom Data Entry Forms

I have a custom data entry form defined in one spreadsheet that I would like to have populate another spreadsheet that is in a typical database format. The data in the custom data entry form uses data validation to control what the user can select for some of the fields. So the built-in data entry form doesn't work well for this application. Is there a way to link the custom data entry form to the database spreadsheet in the same workbook and have it add the data to the next record?
