Hi,

I have a spreadsheet with 4000+ rows. How can I cut & paste a formula downward without clicking and dragging? Is there a shortcut or faster way?

That should be my dumb question for the day. Tune in tomorrow, same bat(headed) time, same bat(headed) channel for another one!

:nya:

Thanks,
NIRAV

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
A couple of ways I can think of.

If there is data to the left or right of your data (without any spaces) you can double-click on the little square in the bottom right corner of a selected cell (dark border around selected cell, with little square in the bottom right corner).

OR

Select the top cell with your formula in it, scroll down to the bottom of your data set and while holding shift select the last cell that you want to copy your formula to. Now press Ctrl+D to copy the formula down into each selected cell.

To build on the second suggestion and depending on your data setup presseing CTRL+DownArrow brings you to the bottom of the sheet.

Pressing CTRL+SHIFT+DownArrow will select the cells and you can then paste the formula.
