Hey,

I was wondering if someone could me please?

I have to summarise client data per month and compare that data for 2021 Vs 2022 So it reads something like image 1.

I have a large data dump, but I have split it into tab 1 which is the data for 2021 & tab 2 which is the data for 2022

Image 2 is an example of how the data table is.

Please could someone advise the best way to go about this?

I would appreciate anyone's help as I am a new excel user :)

Many thanks in advance.

It looks like 2 pivot tables will better suit your needs. You can filter the first one according to 2021 and the other according to 2022.
Thanks. I have now created 2 sheets (one for data 2021 and one for data 2022, I have also created pivot tables on separate sheets (Data 2021 and Data 2022). However, what I would like to do now is pull the data from sheet 2021 and sheet 2022 so can I compare the data showing on the same sheet. I would like the information to look like image 1 and I would also like to be able to filter the total spaces column so I can filter from the number of spaces from high to low so I can see the top 5-10 companies with the highest number of spaces.

Save each "Data 2021" and Data 2022 as separate workbook.
Open Both, on your desktop.
on "Data 2021"
1-Select View,
2- Select View Side by Side

both data will be open side by side Horizontally.

Please find the sample file. When you insert a pivot table, select a range in the same worksheet.
