Hello Friends,

I am facing issue with Excel data labels.

I have a Bar graph generated in Excel presenting some percentage values.

I want to introduce a new data label. If a data in a perticular cell is anything other than a percentage value (For Ex: NA) It should display the data label in a graph as "Not Applicable". for rest of the valid percentage value it should display correspodning value.

Is there anyway to accomplish this using data label formats.

Thanks in advance!

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Hi and welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately I don't think any number format will work for this, since error values ignore number formatting. If you convert the errors to text, they will plot as 0 and you could apply a custom format to 0 values, but obviously that won't work if 0 is actually a valid data value for you.

Hi Rorya,

Thanks for the quick reply.

Can you please elaborate on applying custom format for 0s?

I guess I will find some work around with that :)

You can apply a custom number format of:
0%;-0%;"No data"

for example.
