Data Validation

Hello all,
Using excel 2000, how can I put a validation on cell A1 where the user can only enter any number in it IF the sum of cells B1:E1 is less than 5? If the sum of the cells is greater than 5, I don't want the user to be able to enter anything in A1.

In cell A1, click on Data/Validation.

Allow: Custom
Formula: =SUM(B1:E1)<5
