DATEDIF with two start dates

Is there any way to compare one end date to two start dates, calculating whichever start date is later? For example:

Expiration Date4/7/2018
Assignment Date6/19/2018
Submission Date11/8/2018
142
Expiration Date4/7/2018
Assignment Date3/5/2018
Submission Date11/8/2018
