dates in pivot table

Hi

Can anyone tell me why a simple lookup formula, when referencing a date in a pivot table is returning #N/A value? Is there a way round this?

e.g. HLOOKUP(d4,$D$129:$p$129,6,False) is returning #N/A

Where d4 is a date field from one pivot (21st July) and the row references are date fields from another pivot (and they do include a 21st July, in the same format, so i don't understand why the formula is not 'looking up' the right values?)

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
