Hello!

Im trying to figure out how to edit multiple cells at one time. I have cells with date and time and i want to edit them to only show Date.
Basicly i want to remove the last 6 characters of selected cells.

Excel Facts

Easy bullets in Excel
If you have a numeric keypad, press Alt+7 on numeric keypad to type a bullet in Excel.
Turns out this didnt quite fix my problem.

When i turn my datasheet into a pivot-table, it still makes seperates each entry into date+time.. What i want to do is aggregate the entries into Days.
Is there anyway for the PivotTable to keep the new format?

In other words, if i change a collum of Date+Time into say Month-names, i want that collum to be represented by the Months of the year and not all the individual thousands of date+time entries in the data. Did that make sense?

Basicly i want to get statistics out divided into months

In your Pivot Table, you should find an option to Group Values. Select Month as your grouping criteria
