I am using two radio buttons in a spreadsheet that either fill a 1 or a 2 into a linked cell. I have several other cells with IF statements that do something depending on the value in that linked cell.

My question is, is there a way without VBA to determine if a radio button is pressed without using the linked cell?

Right now, in some cells, I use: =IF(C5=1, do this, do that) where C5 is the linked cell.

Is there a way to change it to: =IF(Option Button 1 = checked, do this, do that)
except with code that Excel will recognize if Option Button 1 is actually checked.

I see a lot of VBA, which I half understand, but this seems so simple I would like to try it without VBA, if possible. Thank you.

No. The only way to do this without VBA is to check the value of a linked cell.

Solution
Rats. Can't say I'm surprised though. Thank you very much, Jeff.
