Hello,

I have two data series that are plotting on a date range (the x axis). I've added trendlines to each data set, and at some point in the future these two trendlines cross. I'm interested in being able to determine the date when these two trendlines cross. In the attached file you can eyeball the date and it appears to be early July 2016, however, I'd like to get the date in a cell that can be tracked/graphed over time.

File here.

Thanks!
Dan

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
I had a similar issue where I wanted to forecast based on a trendline. I set up a way to input the coeffcients of the equation and solved in excel. I couldn't get the coeffcients any other way than manually.

I'd recommend showing the trendline equations and setting them equal to each other and solving for x.
