Disable paste - ribbon + backward compatibility

I have tried using the code from http://www.ozgrid.com/forum/showthread.php?t=44022&page=1 to disable pasting, but I realise that it works only on older versions of Excel with no ribbon toolbar. Are there any updated versions that can work for both Excel XP and Excel 2007?
