Disappearing Validation List Choices

Dear Excel community,

I created a model that used several Validation Lists that had drop down choices. I saved this file on a external hard drive and was recently looking at the file. All of the Validation List cells no longer show the drop down arrows to make cell selections. All of the values were the last values I had in the model when it was saved.

Does anyone know why this is happening and is there a way I can get the cell back to the Validation List view I originally had?
