How can I assign a cell to display a text comment based on 1 of 2 option buttons selected? If ythe other option button is selected then a different comment is displayed. I got it to work by linking to a cell outside of my print area, and then doing an iff statement to that linked cell such that "if(AA1 = 1,"Comment 1","Comment 2") but i think there is a more effective way to do this.

Also, is there any way to remove the box around an option group box?

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
James,

to my sense the only other way is using code
the way you proceeded looks the best to me

removing line around box is not possible to my knowledge
you can group option buttons from the controls toolbar (shift click and assign groupname within the properties) without a box

kind regards,
Erik
