drag across, keepletter change number

A3 is formula =F1
Hi how can i drag A3 across so that
B3 would be formula =F2
C3 would be formula =F3
and so on

How about
=INDEX($F:$F,COLUMN())

=INDIRECT("F"&COLUMN(B1))
EXCEL.PNG


Any other ideas ? i thought dragging across and just changing number would be easy

Did you try my suggestion in post#2?
It is best to avoid volatile functions like INDIRECT.

My bad ,both solutuion wont work for me, i think i need the actual cell to say formula
example
B3 would be formula =F2
