Does anyone out there know if there is a way to create a drop down arrow in a cell in excel. I want to restrict what entries can be put into a certain cell in my workbook, and I want the people who use this workbook to be able to choose from a list that I provide what they can input. Please let me know if you can help. Thank you!

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
Hi,
I think a list box or combo box is a nice solution for your problem.

1. View, toolbar, forms
2. Select a list box from the menu
3. right mouse click, Format control
4. Input range-> refer to the possible entries
5. Cel link to a cel
6. Use the numbers in this cel, using if..then statement

Hope this wil help you
