Drop down list showing blanks

I am having an issue with my drop down list displaying blanks where I have to keep scrolling up to find the list of values.

how can I prevent my drop down from showing blanks?

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
Also check the range referenced in the dropdown list. If you have included blank cells in the range they will be included.
