Hi,

I'm fairly new at working with Microsoft Excel and all its complicated functions (given my restricted knowledge).
I'll try not to make the post too long but I'll try and give enough information.

Currently I'm working on an inventory database where the operators in my team can log in how much material they have used to go into a specific batch.

What I have done is created a "Real-time Stock Box" where I can see exactly what I have in stock of a specific product.

See Screenshot below (Posts 1).

Where you can see it says "Re-Order Soon" - I based that on an "IF function" i.e. =IF(D20<1000,"YES","No").

What I need is that when that function displays "YES", I get a notification through email that tells me that I need to re-order stock. I have so many products that it is hard to keep track of each that needs to be re-ordered.
(FYI - Inventory system is 1 excel file per product).

Is there a code/module that I can plug in to get an email every time?

Please let me know! Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks,

Jeremi

Excel Facts

Highlight Duplicates
Home, Conditional Formatting, Highlight Cells, Duplicate records, OK to add pink formatting to any duplicates in selected range.
My apologies.

I'm currently running Windows 7, with Excel 2010.

Also, I am aware that creating inventory databases are easier through Access however I simply can't wrap my head around it.
