Hi excel gurus,

I have the following dilema that I can't quite figure out

I have a cell in column E which contains various words such as:

Batman, Batman coming soon, Batman Returns, BATMAN

I want a formula on the corresponding cell in column F which will show "BATMAN" if the column E cell has the exact same value in there.

so far I've got this:

=IF(ISNUMBER(SEARCH("*BATMAN*",F13)),"BATMAN","")

which works, but unfortunatley even if the BATMAN is lower-case it still shows BATMAN i.e. a match

I need a case sensitive if formula, can someone help me please?

many thanks
