When i highlight multiple cells I can not see any distinction between the cell selected vs. the cells not selected. How can this be adjusted to a darker shadow/shade?

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
Hi there, welcome to the board!

The colors you're looking at are not set within Excel, but within the Operating System. In Windows, it would be in the Display from Control Panel, and look for Appearances to set the colors.
