In Excel 2003 I'm able to go to Data and then List to create a List which allows me to then use the Conditional Sum function (in Tools)

In Excel 2007 - When I open one of my existing worksheets that had a List in it, the List is no longer defined and the Conditional Sum formulas do not recognize new data added to (what was) my List.

What are my options in Excel 2007 to retain existing Lists in existing sheets and creating new Lists going forward?

THANK YOU!!

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
In Excel 2007 they are called Tables. On the Home tab there is Format as Table and on the Insert tab there is Table.

I appreciate your help!!!
I did play with "Tables" in 2007 but can't figure out:

*how to visually define the table range (...like to borders that automatically appear in 2003 and self-adjust when data is added.)

*where to to enter new data in the Table. ie Is there a specific insertion point that will auto-adjust (expand) the Table range and thereby adjust dependent formulas accordingly? (as in '03)

*where is Conditional Sum in '07?
