Hi

Has anyone any experience with this add-in, and - more importantly - why it appears to install and configure correctly but not actually run?

I've installed and configured, and the Fuzzy Lookup tab is present; it starts up and correctly detects Tables present in my wookbook, and their headers. It even lets me make the joins.

However when I press Go absolutely nothing happens, even in the test Portfolio spreadsheet provided with the application.

Thank you.

Hello and welcome to The Board.
I have not used the add-in so I cannot test it on my system but being provided by Microsoft, it should be OK.
However, you say that you are using Excel 2010 and I wonder if you have the 64-bit version installed on Windows 7 64-bit?
It may not necessarily be the cause but I do know of a number of problems occurring when the 64-bit version of Office is installed:

But at work we have experienced a number of problems when printing and this is believed to be a driver issue with 32-bit Office running on 64-bit Windows 7.
Microsoft Outlook often seems to suffer and it is necessary to stop and restart the Print Spooler.

Thanks, Derek.

Yes, I do indeed have 64-bit all over the shop. We have had similar problems with printing, although downloading specific Windows 7 drivers seems to solve them.

With regards to the add-in, I un-installed and re-installed to no avail, then (for no good reason I could see) as I was showing a colleague it decided to work.

Gotta love MS... Having said that, it's simple, intuitive and does exactly what is says on the tin so if anyone else is thinking of trying it, just persist.

Cheers
