Excel 2010 - New Power Pivot table from Power Query > Table properties to show fields and not query

Hello all,

I've had a little problem for a while, and eventually I'm coming to you to know if there is a way of solving it.

I'm using Excel 2010 and whenever I want to import a PQ table into PP, I proceed by opening the PQ workbook connection and then it creates a PP data connection and imports my table.

However if I open Table Properties, I see the query SELECT * FROM [data] for example, whereas I would like to see a preview of the table, with tickable columns.

To have this view I have to delete the table which is imported when opening the connection and recreate it from the created PP data connection.

Is there a shortcut to directly have the preview + tickable columns?

Because if I forgot to do that (delete then recreate), it won't be convenient if I need to add a column in PQ and update the table in PP.

I hope I'm clear.

Thanks for your help,
Olivier.
