My existing progammes using Application.FileDialog(msoFileDialogFilePicker).InitialFileName = "\\servername\path" work , having switched to Excel 365 this code now
causes an unrecoverable error. Excel has to be shut down using End Task.

note openning a standard windows file explorer to the "\\servername\path" used opens the folder location without issue.

.initialFileName = "C:\Path" still works
using CHDIR("\\servername\path") then Application.FileDialog(msoFileDialogFilePicker).show also works (ommitting setting .initialFileNme)

Has any one else experienced this and resolved without resorting to a work arround. Whilst I have a work arround I would prefer not to have to use CHDIR.
