Hello
I've created date connection to my sheet which simply an existing excel file.
I need to modify that file to get the updated records in my sheet.
The problem that i need to close my sheet before i modify the existing excel file.
Is there a way to modify the source (The data connection file) while my sheet is active?

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
i would suggest you keep it running, and update a copy, so you can bring the data together
