Hello MrExcel

I have a rather large file with multiple sheets.

Some of these sheets contain salaries. Can i lock / hide these sheets in a way, where you cannot see the data in them, while still referencing them in other sheets with formulas?

If you just hide them in VBA you can still reference the sheet and thus obtain data.

The problem is that the people viewing these sheets also have to be able to alter some of them, which i guess means they will always be able to extract data from the hidden sheets if they know the sheet name?

Regards

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
