This may sound strange but I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to pull printer / network copier print counts (black and color) from a machine via a given IP address.

I am not looking for some fancy database with history etc. Just want to run something in Excel for a list of 5-10 IP addresses and it return total print counts for back and color.

I was looking for a simple script of some sort.

I know there are some nice high end programs to do this but most were too expensive, more than i needed or geared for companies that sold print fleet services to other companies.

I figured someone out there had to have written a macro to do the same thing. However I can't find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction
