Exporting Excel data to MySQL database

Hi There,

Does anyone know of any tools/programs (free/shareware) that I can use to transfer a load of data from Excel spreadsheets to MySQL database tables?

I seem to remember that SQL Server had a Data Transfer Service to do such things - but this is in the dim and distant past! Also I can't remember if it can transfer Excel spreadsheets.
