If I have a set of data set up with filtered column headings.
I want to add an extra column of data at the far right hand side of my table.
When I do this, the filter does not automatically extend to include my new columns
Is there shortcut / easy way add this column to the filtered data set or is it that I simply need to turn off the filter and turn on again?
Sorry if this sounds a silly question.

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Unless you use a table, or insert the new column within the existing filter range, you'll have to reset the filter.
