Whilst the number of rows in Excel goes down to 65536, the colums only go across to IV (or 256 of them). If there anyway to extend this?

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
ds_robb,

In a standarsheet this is the limit we have to face.

However, by using The spreadsheetcomponent (OWC)and place it on a UserForm we can access approximated 18.000 columns and over 260.000 rows. These components are only available for 2000 and above.

However, this require some coding and special consideration before it can run.

If You really need more columns You may consider to us Quattro Pro, which also have 18.000 columns available.

Kind regards,
Dennis
