Hello guys,

I have a .mdb file that gets updated every hour & it takes about 10 minutes to update the file. I'm importing this .mdb file into excel by going in Data, External Data, Create a query.

I have one problem, during this 10 minutes (while the file is updating) if I refrest the data in excel, it says that the file is currently in use. Is there any way that I can make it ignore this message and open it as read only ?

I have tried to put a checkmark on "real-only" when importing the file, but doesn't work...

Any help will be appriciated.

Thanks,
