Hi,
My colleague has recently received a new laptop but now he can't open a macro containing file that previously he was able to open with his old computer. The error message is '"Unreadable content from Excel was found in "GLOSS Macro (v 1.3 or later). Do you want to restore the contents of the workbook? If you trust the source of this workbook, click Yes."
When he clicks "Yes" he gets the following error message, “
He has macros enabled and he is using the same version of Excel as me which is Windows Office Professional Plus 2010 Excel version 14.0.7173.5000 (32 bit). Any ideas why this is happening?
Log data
<?xml version=”1.0” encoding=”UTF-8” standalone=”true”?>
<recoveryLog xmlns=http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/spreadsheetml/2006/main>
<logFileName>error062720_01.xml</logFileName>
<summary>error in file ‘C:\Users\Name of person\Desktop\GLOSS\Filename.xlsm’</summary>
<removedRecords summary=”following data sets were removed:”>
<removedRecord>Removed record: Designated area /xl/workbook.xml-Part (Workbook)</removeRecord>
</removedRecords>
</recoveryLog>
Thanks
Chad
