Does anyone know of a method to protect an excel file where the user has to register online with a user-id and password to open the file and validate the user ? In other words, how does one commercially sell an excel file to one individual and prevent everyone in the entire office area from coping it for free ?
I would rather they only have to register online one time before a trial period expires.
