I am very curious whether or not what I am seeking can be attained. I am trying to create a formula enabling a formula in a cell to recognize my Auto Filter selection. Since the selection is always a specific cell, I can only get the formula to search in one cell...Is there a way to do this?

Excel Facts

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.

You create an array type formula to grab this one number, but it may just be easier to use subtotal. For example
=SUBTOTAL(9,$B$2:$B$20)
if your list occuipies B1:B20 with a header. This will only add the one visable cell that remains.
