I am trying to filter a table using multiple criteria - however i am getting an error when I define the .Autofilter
I would assume this is the most correct syntax to use to avoid potential problems.

Dim filterValues() As Variant
filterValues(0) = "JB"
filterValues(1) = "JL"

xsheetname.Activate
xsheetname.ListObjects("tablename").AutoFilter Field:=1, Criteria1:=filterValues, Operator:=xlFilterValues

any ideas please?

many thanks
Andrew

Why can't spreadsheets drive cars? They crash too often!
You'll need to use the AutoFilter method of the Range object for your ListObject...

Code:
xsheetname.ListObjects(1).[I][B]Range[/B][/I].AutoFilter Field:=1, Criteria1:=filterValues, Operator:=xlFilterValues

Hope this helps!

P.S. You haven't Redim'd filterValues() or assigned a worksheet to xsheetname. I'm assuming you've done so in your actual code, right?
