Find a value in a table by matching two values

Hi There, :biggrin:
I'm trying to find a way of looking up a value by matching two other values. :confused:

I'm not sure if I'm making sense but this is what I mean;
Just say for example I have a row of dates at the top and a column of company names at the side.
In the table there are values relating to the company on certain dates
How do I put a formula in elsewhere which will lookup the date and the company name and tell me what the value was for that date and company. :unsure:

I'm sure it's an easy formula but after a day of looking at it I'm going a bit stir crazy here!!!! :oops:
