Hello

I am having a challenge with this one and have spent over 4 hours on the net attempting to find a solution... none seem to work for me. I have column A with the company name, Column B to G are new equipment and H to AN are service. (I am not VBA Savy sorry)

The challenge is I need to kown the last two service days and amounts paid. This will help ensure I keep up on the routine schedule and if not paid the value will show zero.

Example: I have cut down on the data to make it easier to understand ..below.....

New Equipment (B-G) Service Calls (H-K)

Company Date Amount Date Amount Date Amount Date Amount Date $$$
Testing 1 1/1/12 $500.00 3/1/12 $500.00 1/12/12 $35.00 1/31/12 $65.00 ??? ???

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Any chance of some data.

Which items are you serching on? is it customer name? Then going on the information, I would suggest index and match should do the trick, If wane PM me the file and I can take a look for you.

Sorry I don't use the site enought to figure out how to add any attachments. It says I can't post images. Still not attachment option showing....

The goal is to look across a row. A set of dates and dollar values not in order will appear and i need to pull out the last two dates and associated amounts.
The first 3 sets of dates/amounts are specific to the equipment purchase and then there are up to 10 sets of service calls (date/amount). I have cut a section from this to help.

In the potential string of 10 dates/amounts (20 columns) I need to extract the last two dates and associated amounts. I need to repeat this for each customers (each row). The Last two visits could be from either side equpiment and service or all from service or al equipment.
*Newest on Right
Equipment Service Last visits (2)
Date $$$ Date $$$ Date $$$ Date $$$ Date $$$ Date $$$ Date $$$ Date $$$ Date $$$........ Date 2 $$2 Date1 $$2
Customer #1 1/1/12 $50 4/1/12 $59 2/12/12 $60 11/1/11 $5 4/1/11 $3 8/1/11 $9 2/1/12 $8 3/1/12 $9 6/1/12 $9
Customer #2 3/1/12 $50 5/1/12 $59 6/12/12 $40 11/1/11 $9 4/1/11 $7 8/1/11 $2 3/1/12 $4 4/1/12 $8 6/12/12 $7

*** customer #1 want it to show in this case that the last two dates & amounts are 4/1/12 $59 (equipment) and 6/1/12 $9 (service)
customer #2 want it to show in this case that the lat two dates & amounts are 6/12/12 $40 (equpiment) and 6/12/12 $7 (service)

Thanks again for your help.
