finding next cell

I am trying to come up with a code to find the next cell in a column and the one I have works prefectly but it needs a little tweaking. What I am trying to do is to find the first empty cell in column B, within range B2:B13 and if there is not an empty cell, then to check for the next empty cell in "C" (range C2:C13) and so on until column F

This is what I have so far.

yeah i tried going to your links but I am at work and our servers blow access to them. surprised it allows me in here. Sorry I am not trying to be a pain. But all I did was open up a new blank workbook, create a userform with cmd button and posted ur code in that button. then excuted that button.

This is the sheet on my actual project that this part of the code needs to work on. This data will be used to make a chart from a different sheet. Your code worked great... Took me a while to get implemented into my current code, the only trouble I had was once I ran the code one time it was formatting the sheet to where I couldnt add another row anywhere on the sheet and giving me a run time error 1004 and a message about not being able to move data off the sheet or something, but anyway, once I figured out I had an End if in the wrong spot it worked flawlessly. Thank you for help.

i thought I had the problem fixed. I can run my code one time and it seems to work but the 2nd time i run it i get a a " run time 1004 error" and the message "To prevent possible loss of data, Excel cannot shift nonblank cells off of the worksheet. Select another location in which to insert new cells, or delete data from the end of your worksheet.............(and so on)"

But i do not have any data beyond "J13" and my formating stops at "H2000"

I can hit ctrl-end before running the code and it takes me to I2000. After running the code it take me to "XFD1048576".
