Fit To Pages Tall

I've used Excel for years, and though I don't do much printing out of worksheets lately I remember that if I had a sheet with, let's say, ten columns and 200 rows, I would simply set the page set up to "Fit to pages wide = 1, and Fit to pages tall = 4, and I would get a perfect printout on 4 pages of 50 rows each. It doesn't seem to work anymore, especially when printing in "portrait". I even ran a test by creating a new sheet with about 600 rows of text, and told Excel to Fit to 30 pages tall. It should have given me close to that, but instead, goes ahead and puts about 90 lines on each printed page!

Any ideas please?

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
When fitting to pages, it is best to blank out either the "wide" or "tall" variables. ie if you want it to 1 page wide, make it 1 pages wide by "" pages tall. Excel will do the rest for you.

If the print is too small, you should set the print titles (in the "sheet" tab in page setup) to pick up the columns or rows that you want to show on each page.

Hope that this helps.
:)
