If I have values of let's say...TOTAL SALES...for June-Sept, what formula do I use to "predict" what Octobers TOTAL SALES will be? I had thought maybe TREND...but that got too confusing.

There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
I just want it to find any kind of pattern in the numbers and apply it to find the next possible number. Nothing Fancy...just a "simple" generated algorithm.?.?
