Hello,
I am trying to find a formula that will count days within a list for a job that does not run every single day. i.e if a project is run for 3 days one week and 3 days the following week the result should be 6.
In my example I have added a days column and manually put in a few cells what result I need. I also need it to stop calculating at the end of the date row (where the blank cell is) this will help me plot a graph from actual days spent on the task please can you help?

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
you have a lot of information in your image. It takes time and can have mistakes for the forum to recreate your scenario. Mr Excel has a tool, xl2bb add in (link below) that allows you to post mini worksheets. Please use that. If you cannot, then please post your data as a table and the forum will try to figure out what you're trying to do.

But, what is the significance of the Date and days columns? Is each project number of days worked for each week the same?
How is a project identified in your worksheet?
